Sports Science Programme
In India, Sports Science is an emerging discipline in higher education. Sports or exercise science is a multidisciplinary approach encompassing various subjects like exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, sports medicine, nutrition and so on. A higher University degree is a requirement for working in sports and exercise science in Clinics, Sports Clubs, Fitness Centres and evaluation of professional athletes for a scientific back up in high performance sports.

The present course offers to create multidisciplinary knowledge base among the students that would enable them to enter research and/or practical application in variety of sports and games.
The overall objective and goal of these courses is to create manpower who can take the great benefits of the Science of Yoga to society at large by training them in various branches of the Science of Yoga and its practices, which, in the long run, help build an integrated and balanced personality, and, in the short run, would bring about reduction of stress and treat many physical ailments. This is characteristic and strength of the Science of Yoga as it works at physical as well as mental level of the personality.
The students taking these courses would be able to teach Yoga in schools, colleges and to anyone who wants to avail benefits of Yoga.
