As a part of nationwide celebration of the 100 days countdown to International Day of Yoga 2024, which will be observed on 21 June 2024, a one-day Yoga Mahotsav program will be conducted in the Abhedananda Convention Centre of Belur Math on Saturday 20 April 2024, 9am -11.15 am, as per schedule below.
- Common Yoga Protocol Demonstration in the University’s ground
7.00 am: Common Yoga Protocol and demonstration of some Asanas, conducted by Sri Prashanta Samanta
8.00 am: tiffin for participants attending CYP practice - Seminar and Discussion on various aspects of Yoga at Abhedananda Convention Centre, Belur Math, 9.00 am – 11.30am
9.00 am: Vedic Chanting by students of Sanskrit Department
9.10am: Introductory talk by Swami Atmapriyananda, Pro-Chancellor and Secretary, RKMVERI
9.30 am: (Keynote address) Synthesis of four yogas as taught by Swami Vivekananda and emblem of Ramakrishna Mission by Swami Shastravidyananda, Controller of Examination, RKMVERI
9.50 am: Artistic Yoga by students of RKMVERI
10.05 am – 11.15 am: Yogasana demonstration by various groups
11.15 am: Closing songs: Swami Sarvabhadrananda
11.30 am: – refreshments
