The Department of Sports Science and Yoga, School of Rehabilitation and Sports Sciences at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI Deemed University), Belur Math is organizing a 7-day long webinar on “Dhāraṇā-Dhyāna-Samādhi” during 15 June to 21 June 2024. This webinar is sponsored by Inter University Centre for Yogic Sciences, Bengaluru. “Dhāraṇā-Dhyāna-Samādhi” are the last three steps/stages of Patanjali’s Astanga Yoga and popularly known as ‘antaranga sadhana’, the inner journey. This aspect of Astanga Yoga is very profound and has innate connections with other mainstream Philosophies like Vedanta. In this webinar we wish to throw light on this relatively less illustrated/attended topic, both from the point of Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda, Buddhist and Kriya Yoga traditions, all of which are based on authentic scriptures. The speakers are drawn from a large pool of illustrious monks of the Ramakrishna Order, HH Dalai Lama, Yogacharyas and Medical Doctors abroad.
