Admission for batch starting from February 2025
Applications are invited from MALE candidates only for admission to One Year PG Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy at Belur Main Campus (Classes start from February 2025).
Eligibility:
- Male only, candidates should be medically fit in the age range ordinarily 21-45 years
- Minimum educational qualification– Graduation (10+2+3 ys) in any discipline with 50% (5% relaxation for reserved categories, as per GoI rules) from a recognized board or institution, candidates with higher than graduation qualifications can also apply.
Who can study?
According to the UGC Guidelines for Pursuing Two Academic Programmes Simultaneously 2022, clause 1(a) “A student can pursue two full time academic programmes in physical mode provided that in such cases, class timings for one programme do not overlap with the class timings of the other programme.” (Read the Guidelines). Therefore students in their final year of graduation (e.g., pursuing BA / BCom / B.Sc / BPT / B.P.E.S / B.P.Ed.) interested to study Yoga can do this program.
Prospects of Higher Study
As per NEP 2020 guidelines and National Higher Education Qualifications Framework 2024, students successfully completing 1yr Diploma (earning 40 credits) are eligible for admission directly in the second year of a two-year Masters degree course already run by the Department of Sports Science and Yoga, RKMVERI Belur main campus, after going through due process of selection applicable for entry into the Masters degree program.

- Duration:1 year (Total 46 Weeks, 23 weeks per semester)
- Contact Hours/Week = 10 (Saturday 4 hr + Sunday 6 hrs)
- Total Contact Hours: 460 Hrs
- Class timings:
- Saturdays: 1.00 PM – 5.00 PM (4 hrs, 1.5 hrs Theory + 2.5 hrs practical class)
- Sundays: 10.00 AM – 1.00 PM (2 Theory sessions of 1.5 hrs each), 2.00 PM – 5.00 PM (Practical session)
- Total Credits = 40 ( as per NCRF guidelines)
- Number of Seats: 30
- Medium of Instruction: English & Bengali

How to Apply
- New applicants have to first register on the Online Admission Portal (https://isr.rkmvu.ac.in/admission) , then login and fill up the online application form.
- While filling up the online application-form attach the scanned copies of your passport size photo, mark-sheets and other applicable certificates/documents.
- After successfully submitting the application form, pay the application fee (INR 300.00) online from the same Portal. Link can be found under ‘Options’ next to the program name on the Dashboard.
- Once Application-form is successfully submitted and application-fee is paid, Receipt (also Application-summary) will be available for download from the same Portal from the ‘Dashboard‘.

Course Fees:
- Rs. 4,500/- per semester, payable in the beginning of each semester
- Total course fees is Rs. 9,000/-
