Applications are invited for admission to 3-year B.Sc. in Yogic Sciences for the academic year 2025-2026 starting from July 2025.
Eligibility criteria
- Only male candidates owing to lack of infrastructure for female candidates at present. (বর্তমানে মহিলা প্রার্থীদের জন্য উপযুক্ত পরিকাঠামোর অভাব থাকায় শুধুমাত্র পুরুষ প্রার্থীদেরই গ্রহণ করা হচ্ছে ।)
- Candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate (calculated on the basis of Madhyamik, Class 10 exam + WB Higher Secondary or equivalent Plus Two exam of a recognized Board/Council added together). - Candidates should be from the science stream at the Higher Secondary / Plus Two level or, should at least have passed in one science subject like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science, etc. at the Higher Secondary/Plus Two examination. Application procedure
Candidates should apply through https://zfrmz.in/K42oTBAIYkZKAqtJaSlK and upload 10th (Madhyamik) and 12th (higher secondary/plus two) examination marksheets, admit card of Madhyamik examination in proof of age, photograph (passport size), any other certificate on yoga, sports, extra-curricular distinction/prizes, etc. Application fee is Rs. 150/- only. Admission procedure
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance at the admission test and interview/counselling (see below for the dates).
- Admission test will be of 50 marks, consisting of questions on General Aptitude, basic knowledge of English/Bengali/Hindi/elementary ideas of Yoga.
- Online admission test will be arranged for outstation candidates.
About the programme
The 3-year ‘B.Sc. Yogic Sciences’ programme under the aegis of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, will follow the curriculum/syllabus designed by the Central Sanskrit University and will consist of six semesters (each of six months). It will be conducted at the Belur Math main campus of RKMVERI, by newly created Ramakrishna Mission Sanskrit Samvit Samsthanam, which is affiliated to Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi.

Rs.20000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) per semester (six months)
Fees for Residential Candidates
- In case of students who need hostel accommodation and study as residential candidates, apart from academic fees mentioned above per semester, the hostel & mess (food + accommodation) fees will be Rs 4500/- per month.
- While efforts will be made to provide residential accommodation to candidates coming from afar, the non-residential candidates (day scholars) will have to arrange their accommodation in nearby places of the of Belur Math main campus. However, we will facilitate this process of their finding suitable accommodation nearby.
Important Dates
